EmailGuard is a well-known cold-email deliverability suite: inbox placement tests, spam checks, contact verification — and, bundled into the paid tiers, a domain masking proxy. Twins Proxy does one job: it serves your landing pages under your secondary outreach domains — real HTTPS sites under each domain's own hostname, so your primary domain never appears in a redirect, a certificate, or a filter's link graph. Because masking is the whole product rather than a tier feature, the economics and the depth look different.

When EmailGuard is the right choice
Genuinely: if you want inbox placement testing, spam-word checks, and contact verification in one subscription, EmailGuard is built for that, and having masking in the same bill may be worth the premium to you. Twins Proxy doesn't do placement tests and isn't going to pretend a comparison table makes that gap disappear.
When a dedicated masking proxy wins
You're paying suite prices for one feature. If masking is what you need, $49/month buys 10 proxy slots there — or 10 domains here for $15, 25 for $39, with domain packs (+10 for $15) stacking beyond that.
You want your own IP and bandwidth. Shared IP pools are shared fate. A dedicated IP is $25/month here versus $100 there — or bring your own VM on the Freedom plan and the IP, the bandwidth, and the serving capacity are simply yours, while DNS, certificates, and routing stay automated.
You need real hostname control. Outreach setups live on subdomains — tracking hosts, per-campaign landers. Twins Proxy routes exact hostnames per domain, covered by the domain's wildcard certificate, managed from the dashboard or the API.
You'd rather own the infrastructure. The entire control plane is self-hostable with a one-line installer. No other masking product in this space offers that exit hatch.
Moving over is undramatic
Masked domains carry no warm-up and no sending history — the mailbox side of your stack doesn't change at all. Point your secondary domains' DNS at Twins Proxy (automated if the zone is on Cloudflare), certificates issue in minutes, and the old proxy can be switched off the same day.
